There’s one more important thing to consider when deciding on your price. Small businesses are characterized by having a limited number of customers. We’re not selling to tens of thousands of people. That means that your price doesn’t need to be appealing to every single person who looks at it.

For example, you may think everyone has experienced moving somewhere during their lifetime. The reality though is that not everyone has moved before. Professional movers understand that well. When you ask movers for an estimate, they’ll likely ask you “Have you ever moved before?” If you say it’s your first time, you’ll get an expensive estimate.
